The compensation for electricity fed into the grid in 2005 caused an increasing demand in Rheinland Pfalz and Saarland, therefore SOLARtec expanded its sales area to Germany. SOLARtec has won the tender to equip the European court with a solar plant in 2007. Since 2008 SOLARtec also builds assemblies in Belgium, its market seems to start booming because of the new subsidies.
SOLARtec plans, develops and implements projects for self-sustaining energy and water supply with different NGO's. Together with the organisation AMU (action pour un monde uni) we build an autarkic supply for a hospital, a school and homes in Tanzania. More projects in Africa are being planned.
More projects like an education centre in Ruanda and a childrens village in Dar-Es-Salaam are already functioning. (please look up “references”)
