A stand-alone energy system consists of different components:

1. The PV generator (solarmodules)
2. Battery system (storage)
3. Back-up generator (diesel oil or vegetable oil)

The direct current won by the photovoltaic process is stored either in batteries or is converted by inverters into alternating current and is fed directly into the household net.

For an extended autonomy, a generator can be automatically connected.
A hybrid island arrangement, independent from the net, guarantees a durable and reliable electricity supply poor in maintenance for years.

The current power rate remains unchanged and the customer does not depend on price fluctuations of fossil energy.
